ABOUT SERGIO
Sergio began playing golf at the age of three and was taught by his father, Victor García. He was a star junior player, winning his club championship at the age of twelve. Sergio was the youngest player ever to qualify for the Ryder Cup, winning 4 out of 5 points in his first appearance. Sergio has an impressive career as an athlete competing and winning for more than two decades around the globe.
Founded The Sergio Garcia Foundation in 2002 and has brought to Spain adapted golf for disabled kids. Alongside with his wife Angela the couple is very engaged in their foundation work. The Sergio and Angela Garcia Foundation is supporting organizations that provide healthcare, wellness and family support services for children.
Sergio joined LIV Golf as team captain Fireballs GC.
